Day 7 of August Break – Bar Boulud

by beth on August 9, 2010

On our final night in NYC, we decided to splurge a little and go to dinner at Bar Boulud which is a Casual French Bistro owned by Chef Daniel. The dinner had a few firsts for me, namely beef cheeks, pate and pork belly, and I thoroughly enjoyed all of them. I didn’t take pictures of all my dishes because I was too excited about eating them, but here is a shot of the menu.

I can’t say I’m particularly jealous of the food selection (beef cheeks?! I don’t even want to know …), but it sounds like you had a fun time!

Haha! I was going to comment on the beef cheeks and see that Jess beat me to it! Nice shot o’ the menu. And welcome back!

Ha ha. I know they sounds much worse than they taste. I would have NEVER ordered them with out Chris there.
